When you look back on your photos years from now, I want for the images that I capture to bring back a flood of memories for you. I want you to remember the breeze that took your veil away, or how your groom grinned from ear to ear when he first saw you.

For your family, I want you to remember the way your child's nose scrunches up when he giggles, and the way she crosses her arms when you tell her "no".

See, photography to me isn't about the seemingly perfect moments. It's not about the poses, the cheesy smiles, or the shirt tucked in just-so. Photography is about preserving a precious moment in time that we'll never get back, and sometimes those moments are a little messy, a little funny, and cannot be planned perfectly.
